CPT Darius Javan is an environmental engineering instructor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA). He holds a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from USMA. 

Commissioned in 2016, he first served as a platoon leader and company executive officer at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. He was then selected to serve as aide-de-camp to the commander of the Southwestern Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in Dallas, Texas. Following that assignment, he served as battalion S4 and deployed as a company commander with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base, Romania.

CPT Javan's research includes groundwater modeling in California’s Central Valley and co-authorship of a peer-reviewed article on biocomposite recycling in Resources, Conservation and Recycling.

He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Nevada.

CPT Javan is married to Lauren Javan, and they have one son, Atticus.
