Dr. Elizabeth Bristow is an associate professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the United States Military Academy, where she has taught since 2007. She is the director of the department's Civil Engineering Mechanics Group.
She earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, a master's degree in civil engineering, a certificate in advanced international affairs, and a doctorate in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. Bristow's research interests include water resources engineering, emergency response, and the interdependence and security of critical infrastructure systems.
She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
