MAJ Erin Lemons is an assistant professor of international affairs in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.

A military intelligence officer, she has served as a company commander and S2 in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Irwin, California, and as a targeting officer, platoon leader and company executive officer in the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade at Fort Gordon, Georgia. She has deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Lemons holds a doctorate in government from Georgetown University and a master's degree in German from Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include security cooperation and defense diplomacy.

She and her husband are the proud parents of three children.
