CPT Evan Tryon is an instructor in the Department of Physical Education at the United States Military Academy. He was born in New London, Connecticut and graduated from Springfield College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences. He commissioned as an officer via the Direct Commission Course at Fort Skill, OK. After completing, Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort-Sam Houston, he graduated from the Army-Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition with a master of science in dietetics in 2023.

Upon completing his masters, Tryon served for three years as the brigade dietitian for the Holistic Health and Fitness initiative with the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division. In this role, he conducted a 9-month operational rotation covering Germany, Poland, and Romania, served as the Division Food Board dietitian, and established best practices for H2F utilization on operational rotations.

Evan Tryon is married to his wife, best friend, and better Tryon, Dana, a CPT in the Army and dietitian currently serving at Keller Army Medical Center.
