Dr. Evelyn (Lynnan) Mocek is assistant dean of assessment and curriculum at the United States Military Academy (USMA), where she serves on the dean's staff. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership.
Joining USMA is the jewel in her ongoing professional journey. She has a varied career before coming to the academy. She worked as an occupational and certified hand therapist for more than 20 years and taught occupational therapy at the college level for more than a decade. Mocek also served in higher education administration, focusing on curriculum, assessment, and student academic issues for more than 20 years.
Her professional interests include assessment at all levels within higher education, andragogy, multimodal communication, and micro-communities. She is a mother of two girls and grandmother to four grandchildren, including two boys and two girls.
