MAJ Gabe Royal is an assistant professor and American politics course director in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy (USMA). His research focuses on American public finance and cryptocurrency/digital asset public policy.
He commissioned as an aviation officer in 2012. Royal served as an attack aviation platoon leader in Afghanistan (OFS '15-16) and a company commander in Iraq (OIR 2018-19). He holds a doctorate in public policy and administration and a master's degree in public administration from George Washington University, as well as a bachelor's degree in U.S. history and American politics from USMA.
