Gregory Hess is an assistant professor, course director, and athletic trainer in the Department of Physical Education (DPE) at the United States Military Academy.

The Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, native graduated from Roanoke College in Virginia in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training.

Mr. Hess served as the athletic trainer for the University of Pittsburgh women’s gymnastics team from 2007 to 2009, where he also earned his master's degree in rehabilitative science. He later worked in the same role for New England College's NCAA Division III programs from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, he joined the DPE sports medicine staff in a dual instructor and athletic training role, teaching multiple courses and serving as the course director for PE215, Fundamentals of Personal Fitness, and PE262, Strength Development.
