MAJ Jae Yu is an economics instructor in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy (USMA). He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from USMA and a master's in business administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
An Army Infantry Officer, he recently served as the Crisis Action Team executive officer for Combined Forces Command in Yongsan, Korea. In addition, he served as the company commander at the Joint Security Area in Panmunjom, Korea.
MAJ Yu did his lieutenant time at the 25th Infantry Division where he served as a rifle platoon leader, company executive officer, and aide-de-camp. He deployed with Special Operations to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.
He is married to his wife, Jenny.
