Dr. Jesse Germain is a professor and director of kinesiology in the Department of Physical Education at the United States Military Academy (USMA).
He is originally from Long Island, New York. A 1987 USMA graduate, Germain returned to the Department of Physical Education in 1996 as a rotating military instructor and then again in 2004 as an academy professor. After almost three decades in uniform, he retired from the Army in 2015 and took a position as director of kinesiology and professor of sport leadership.
Germain is married to Kate and has a daughter, Darby, and sons David, Christopher, and John.
