CPT Jonathan Day is an instructor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mathematical sciences and Arabic from USMA in 2015 and commissioned as an Infantry officer. He served as a rifle platoon leader, battalion mortar platoon leader, and Battalion S-3 Air Operations officer for 1-501 IN (ABN) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
Upon completing the Maneuver Captains Career Course, CPT Day served as the rifle company commander for A Company, 2-505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. After completing company command, he attended the University of Michigan, earning a Master of Science in applied statistics.
