His service with the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) has included leading Special Forces units in Iraq, Syria and other locations in the Middle East. He joined the Department of Law and Philosophy faculty in 2021.LTC Lehman primarily works in ethics, just war and leadership within the Thomistic philosophical tradition.
