LTC Justine Meberg Assistant Professor Deputy Director of the Digital History Center HWS Faculty Development Liaison History & War Studies justine.meberg [at] westpoint.edu About Education LTC Meberg was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up across the globe, to include years spent living in the Ivory Coast, France, and Venezuela. She deployed to Iraq as a platoon leader, commanded two companies, and has served in staff positions including S2, S4, Aide-de-Camp, and BDE S3 across. She has a Ph.D. from Columbia University. Her dissertation won the Bancroft Dissertation Award, and her first book won the Broussard Best First Book Prize. She is a dual-military officer with two children and two dogs.
