Mr. Karl Zang

Karl Zang is an instructor and lead coordinator, company athletics, in the Department of Physical Education at the United States Military Academy (USMA).

He grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and found a love of swimming in high school. He has been teaching people of all ages how to swim since 2003. His passion for aquatic instruction eventually led him to his current position at USMA in 2018. 

He and his wife have been married since 2020 and are currently raising a daughter and a son. As a family, they enjoy road trips, visiting with family, hikes around the local parks, and going to the beach when they can.
