MAJ Ken Cassidy is an instructor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership (BSL) at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
He received his undergraduate degree from Longwood University in 2015 and was commissioned as a signal corps officer. He received a Master of Business Administration – Project Management from Liberty University in 2019 and a Master of Science in industrial and systems engineering- cognitive systems engineering in 2023 from Ohio State University-Columbus.
MAJ Cassidy served as a platoon leader, executive officer, and battalion S6 with the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. He deployed to Kuwait in 2017 as 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division Signal Company executive officer in support of Operation Spartan Shield (OSS).
After the Signal Corps Captains Career Course, CPT Cassidy served with 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), as the 3rd Battalion S6. During his time with 10th Group, he deployed to Afghanistan in 2021 in support of Resolute Support Mission XV.
