Dr. Kevin McMullen, Ph.D.

Dr. Kevin F. McMullen is an associate professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the United States Military Academy.

He received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering and doctorate in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut. Dr. McMullen has taught courses in structural mechanics and structural design, and his research focuses on structural engineering.

Before arriving at USMA, Dr. McMullen’s research centered on evaluating and implementing innovative materials and technologies to develop more sustainable and cost-effective solutions for infrastructure challenges. At the academy, he has worked with cadets to develop novel designs to improve the blast resistance of structures.
