MAJ Kevin Fleming is an instructor in the Department of History & War Studies at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York. Originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, he graduated from USMA with a degree in history in 2014. He commissioned as an armor officer and was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany, where he served as a reconnaissance platoon leader, executive officer, and assistant operations officer.

In 2018, MAJ Fleming attended the Maneuver Captains Career Course at Fort Benning, Georgia. He was then assigned to the 5th Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, where he served as the squadron planner, B Troop commander, and headquarters and headquarters troop commander at Fort Stewart, Georgia; Camp Hovey, South Korea; and Grafenwöhr, Germany.

MAJ Fleming earned his Master of Arts in history from Temple University in May 2024.

He and his wife, Daina, have two daughters: Evelyn and Shea.
