COL Khanh Diep commissioned in 1999 from the United States Military Academy as an Adjutant General Corps Officer.  She has served in command and staff positions with the 3rd Infantry Division, 4th Infantry Division, 1st Cavalry Division, Bosnia, and Iraq.  Her command select billets (CSL) include G1, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado and G1, III Armored Corps at Fort Cavazos, Texas. COL Diep has also enjoyed several strategic assignments as the Special Assistant for Outreach to the 38th Chief of Staff of the Army, the Special Assistant and Assistant Executive Officer to the 20th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.  COL Diep holds a Master of Kinesiology from Texas A&M University at College Station, TX and a Master in National Security and Resourcing from the Eisenhower School, National Defense University. COL Diep is married to COL Chad R. Foster for over 24 years.  They have a 14-year old son, Bryce.
