MAJ Matthew Crocker is an executive officer and instructor in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York.
He received his commission following USMA graduation in 2014. He served as a platoon leader in A and B Companies, 91st Engineer Battalion; task force engineer in 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment; battalion plans and assistant operations officer in the 92nd Engineer Battalion; and commander of the 530th Clearance Company, 92nd Engineer Battalion.
He completed a rotation in the Republic of Korea with the 1st Cavalry Division and served in Kuwait with the 20th Engineer Brigade in support of Operation Spartan Shield.
Crocker holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a master's degree in engineering management, and a master's in mechanical engineering, as well as his Project Management Professional certification.
