LTC Matt Webb is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York.

He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences from USMA (2007), a master's degree in operations research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (2017), and a doctorate in transportation from MIT (2026). His research interests include stochastic optimization, network interdiction, and reinforcement learning, with a current application area in contested logistics.

Before joining the USMA faculty, he served in the operational Army as an field artillery officer with combat deployments to Afghanistan and as an analyst for the joint logistics enterprise.

He and his wife, Rachel, live at West Point with their three children.
