CPT Nijel Rogers is a general chemistry instructor in the Department of Chemical & Biological Science & Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA).

He commissioned as an engineer officer after earning a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from USMA in 2015. He served as the vertical construction platoon leader within the 92nd Engineer Battalion and headquarters support company executive officer, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. CPT Rogers commanded Alpha Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and served as aide-de-camp to the deputy commanding general of U.S. Army Central.

He earned a Master of Science in Engineering in chemical engineering from Princeton University in 2024 before returning to USMA as a faculty member. CPT Rogers is also a certified Project Management Professional.
