Dr. Olivia Holloway is an assistant professor, academic counselor, and Portugal study abroad coordinator in the Department of English & World Languages at the United States Military Academy. She has served as course director for LP203, LP371, LP475 and LP485.
She received her doctorate from Indiana University in 2019. She is a literary and medical translator and a certified medical interpreter.
Dr. Holloway leads regular capoeira sessions in the Portuguese Forum as an instructor certified through Coletivo Colibri Capoeira under Mestra Colibri. She also coordinated the inaugural West Point Conference on Language, Culture and the Military in 2023.
She has a daughter, with whom she enjoys reading, cooking, crafting and playing music.
