Scott Ostrander is an instructor and certified athletic trainer in the Department of Physical Education (DPE) at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
The Long Island, New York, native graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2014. He served as an athletic training resident at the University of Maryland with the football team for the 2014-15 season. From there, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the men's tennis program at Mississippi State University, while also earning his master's degree in sports administration in 2017.
Ostrander first came to West Point as an assistant athletic trainer with the academy's Division 1 NCAA teams from 2017-21 (2017-18 sprint football/men's lacrosse, 2018-20 men's soccer/baseball, 2020-21 men's ice hockey). From here, Ostrander worked in the American Hockey League as the assistant athletic trainer with the Bridgeport Islanders until fall 2025, when he joined the DPE sports medicine staff as a dual instructor and athletic trainer.
