He commissioned as an Armor officer and has served in airborne and Stryker reconnaissance formations. He earned a master’s degree in public administration in 2025 from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.Lipsky is from Brooklyn, New York. He is married to his wife, Elise.
