CPT Theodore “Theo” Lipsky is an instructor of American politics in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy (USMA).

He graduated from USMA in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Russian language and comparative politics. He commissioned as an armor officer and served in airborne and Stryker reconnaissance formations. 

CPT Lipsky earned a master’s degree in public administration in 2025 from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

He is from Brooklyn, New York. He is married to his wife, Elise.
