Dr. Timothy Sweetman, Ph.D.

Dr. Timothy Sweetman is the head of the Department of Mathematics at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS).

Following graduation from Rutgers University with a master's degree in mathematics, he filled the position of mathematics instructor at USMAPS in 1992, while the school was located at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. His family moved with him to West Point, New York, when the school relocated, and he has since been promoted to the head of the Mathematics Department. 

Dr. Sweetman received his doctoral degree in mathematics education from Rutgers University in 2005 while at USMAPS.
