LTC W. Casey Biggerstaff is an academy professor and academic counselor in the Department of Law & Philosophy at the United States Military Academy. He is also affiliated with USMA's Lieber Institute for Law & Warfare.
Before his appointment, he served as an armor officer. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom before transitioning into the Judge Advocate General's Corps.
Since becoming a judge advocate, Biggerstaff has served predominantly in various litigation roles, including two tours in the U.S. Army Litigation Division's Military Personnel Law Branch, and as a military professor at the Stockton Center for International Law at the U.S. Naval War College.
