CPT Yuki Muto

CPT Yuki Muto grew up in southeastern Japan and joined the Ground Self-Defense Force in 2010 when he enrolled at the National Defense Academy of Japan. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant and assigned to a tank battalion.

After seven years of service, Muto completed the Maneuver Captains Career Course at Fort Benning, Georgia, and graduated from the General Staff College in Japan. He is currently assigned to the United States Military Academy as an exchange officer from Japan.
