CPT Yuki Muto Instructor of Military Science Department of Military Instruction yuki.muto [at] westpoint.edu About Education CPT Yuki Muto is a military science instructor in the Department of Military Instruction at the United States Military Academy (USMA), where he also serves as an exchange officer from Japan.He grew up in southeastern Japan and joined the Ground Self-Defense Force in 2010 when he enrolled at the National Defense Academy of Japan. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant and assigned to a tank battalion.After seven years of service, CPT Muto completed the Maneuver Captains Career Course at Fort Benning, Georgia, and graduated from the General Staff College in Japan.
