Captain Golonski is an instructor in the Department of Chemistry and Life Sciences and teaches general chemistry. After earning a B.S. in chemical engineering from the United States Military Academy in 2015, she commissioned as an engineer officer and has Army experience in construction units with a rotation to South Korea and a disaster relief response mission to the Commonwealth Northern Mariana Islands of Tinian and Saipan with the 130th Engineer Brigade (Schofield Barracks). CPT Golonski commanded the headquarters and headquarters company of the Leader Training Brigade (Fort Jackson). She completed an M.S. Thesis in chemical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines in 2024.

Current Research
Captain Golonski conducted research comparing emissions associated with ammonia-hydrogen fuel blends as part of a larger effort to develop and implement alternative fuel sources for combustion-based energy generation.
