Mr. Jeff Hansen is originally from Wallkill, NY. He graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 2010 where he studied exercise, health, and physical education while playing varsity lacrosse. Afterwards he graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2013, where he studied physical education and participated in the varsity football and club lacrosse programs. After his undergraduate studies, Mr. Hansen returned to his hometown of Wallkill to coach high school varsity football from 2013-2015 and varsity boys’ lacrosse from 2015-2017. During this time he also worked as a personal trainer, swim instructor, and strength coach. In 2014 he played football at the semi-professional level for the New York Bears. In 2018 Mr. Hansen coached the varsity boys’ lacrosse team and the strength and conditioning program at James I. O’Neill High School. Their lacrosse team won the 2018 Section 9 Boys’ Lacrosse Championship. He graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2018 with a master’s degree in Physical Education and Coaching Pedagogy. Mr. Hansen currently serves as an Instructor for the USMA Department of Physical Education. He primarily teaches personal fitness, survival swimming, Olympic weightlifting, emergency water safety, and lifeguarding.
