
MAJ Joshua Haskins enlisted into the Infantry in 2006 and served in C/2-325 AIR 82nd Airborne, where he deployed to Iraq from 2007-2008. Following that deployment he was accepted into the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was commissioned as an Infantry officer after graduating with a B.S. in Defense and Strategic Studies and Arabic. He served as the Company Executive Officer for 3-81 Armor in Fort Benning. Afterwards MAJ Haskins moved to 1-9 Cavalry where he served as a Platoon Leader and Assistant Operations Officer. He then transferred to the Information Systems Engineering functional area where he served as the Information Systems Management Officer for the 78th Strategic Signal Battalion out of Camp Zama Japan. After completing his M.S. in Computer Science and Masters of Applied Data Science programs, MAJ Haskins transitioned to an Instructor in the EECS Department at the United States Military Academy where he currently serves. MAJ Haskins is a graduate of the Infantry Basic Officer Leader's Course, the Signal Captain's Career Course, the Information Systems Engineer Course, Airborne School, and Air Assault School.
