USMA Announces Class Of 2024 Cadet Leadership Positions
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Today, the U.S. Military Academy announced the names of the cadets from the Class of 2024 selected to lead the Corps of Cadets during the academic year. The brigade cadet leadership roles are the top positions in the Corps of Cadets charged with carrying out the responsibilities of leading the Corps. These cadets will assume their leadership duties on Aug. 7, prior to the start of the fall academic session at the academy.
“This year’s cadet leaders have distinguished themselves amongst their peers, consistently demonstrating academic, military, and physical excellence throughout their leader development experience. More importantly, they have demonstrated the exceptional moral character that leadership demands,” said Commandant of Cadets, Brig. Gen. Lori Robinson. “They are proven leaders of character committed to developing themselves and their fellow cadets, working together as a team to realize their full potential. We look forward to teaching, coaching, mentoring, and inspiring these talented cadets as they assume leadership of the Corps.”
The Brigade leadership positions are:
First Captain/Brigade Commander: Martayn Van de Wall, West Friendship, Md.
Deputy Brigade Commander: Isabella Sullivan, San Antonio, Texas
Brigade Command Sergeant Major: Wil Tearman, Franklin, Ind.
Brigade Executive Officer: Calvin Lu, San Antonio, Texas
Brigade Honor Captain: Jacques Schold, Wakefield, R.I.
Brigade Prevention Captain: Teryon Lowery, Newark, N.J.
Brigade Adjutant: Sarah Mancari, Mentor, Ohio
Brigade Public Affairs/Intelligence Officer: Anusha Pakkam, Alexandria, Va.
Brigade Operations Officer: Jacob Woodruff, West Point, N.Y.
Brigade Logistics Officer: Jack Hager, Flint, Texas
Brigade Information Systems Officer: Sade Moore, Sykesville, Md.
