West Point possesses a number of competitive sports club options for cadets. Unlike intramural teams, these competitive sports club teams compete against teams from other colleges and universities. Cadets interested in joining a competitive sports club must try out for the team, with each team having its own criteria for selection. While not the same as the academy’s NCAA teams, competitive club teams travel and compete at the regional and national level and have a history of success.
