Dr. Aaron St. Leger is a professor of electrical engineering and director of the electrical engineering program in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the United States Military Academy. He is also the director of the Electrical Power Systems, Alternative Energy and Smart Grid laboratories, which support education and research in the power and energy field at West Point.

He received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. St. Leger's research and teaching interests include alternative energy, electric power systems, and modeling and controls. His recent work has focused on improving resiliency for grid‑tied and off‑grid military bases and on wide area monitoring and control systems for bulk electric power grids.
