MAJ Amber Ingwell is an instructor at the Simon Center for Professional-Military Ethics at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2014 and commissioned through ROTC as an active-duty aviation officer.
After flight school, she served at Fort Drum, New York, as a UH-60 Black Hawk maintenance platoon leader, flight platoon leader, and battalion S-4 in the 2-10 Assault Helicopter Battalion, and as assistant S-3 in the 1-10 Attack Reconnaissance Battalion.
MAJ Ingwell later served as a flight company commander for B Company, 3-501 Assault Helicopter Battalion at Fort Bliss, Texas.
