Dr. Berardy is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography & Earth Sciences at the United States Military Academy with experience teaching sustainable cities and engineering business practices. He teaches GE203 (Geography).

As a sustainability researcher, he has expertise in life cycle assessment, studies of expertise and experience, food systems, food-energy-water nexus, environmental nutrition, and sustainable behavior. His research interests focus on sustainable food systems, including how to reduce vulnerability, increase efficiency, and provide food security.
