Beatrice Wells is an operations officer/S3 with the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership and the West Point Leadership Center at the United States Military Academy.

A native of Queens and Brooklyn, New York, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. 

Mrs. Wells has diverse experience, having served as an information technology (IT) manager for a KG-6 charter school, an IT help desk specialist at a community college, and a substitute teacher across various K-12 school districts. She was also an adjunct instructor in vocational education, teaching business organization, business law, and math/science general educational development (GED) classes.

She passionately advocates for foster care, small businesses and entrepreneurs, military families, and veterans. Mrs. Wells enjoys singing, reading, traveling, and volunteering. She dedicates time to West Point/American Red Cross blood drives and the National Society of Black Engineers. Previously, she volunteered with the West Point JAG office as a tax preparer and assisted the West Point Army Community Services (ACS) office as a career and program assistant. 

Mrs. Wells and her husband, Ronald, have been certified foster parents since 2012.
