Dr. Brendan Cross, Ph.D.

Brendan Cross is a machine learning researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and the Robotics Research Center at the United States Military Academy.

He earned a doctorate in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2025, where his research focused on algorithms for graph clustering/generation and the application of said methods for human behavioral analysis. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science from State University of New York-Oneonta in 2016.

Cross has previously worked in the defense industry as a software engineer, writing embedded software for radar systems as well as developing the schema for a joint sensor database.
