MAJ Collin L. Pratt

MAJ Collin L. Pratt graduated from Boston College and commissioned through ROTC in May 2017. Following graduation, MAJ Pratt attended the Military Intelligence Basic Officer Leadership Course (MIBOLC) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. After MIBOLC, MAJ Collin Pratt was assigned to 2-6 CAV Heavy Attack Reconnaissance Squadron, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii where he served as a squadron assistant S2 and completed a rotation at the National Training Center. In April 2019, MAJ Pratt was selected to become the brigade intelligence support element platoon leader for D CO (MICO), 29 BEB, 3 BCT and completed a rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center. In January 2020, MAJ Pratt moved to become the executive officer for D CO (MICO), 29 BEB, 3 BCT where he served for eighteen months before transitioning to Fort Huachuca, Arizona to complete the Military Intelligence Captains Career Course (MICCC).

After MAJ Pratt graduated from the MICCC in December 2021, he was assigned to the 502d Intelligence Electronic Warfare Battalion, 201st Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade at Joint Base Lewis McChord. From January 2022 to May 2023, MAJ Collin Pratt served as the battalion intelligence officer and the current operations officer. In this role, MAJ Pratt supported the 502d IEW BN’s deployment to the Philippines for Balikatan 22 and participated in the execution of Cobra Gold 23 and WFX 23-01. From May 2023 to May 2024, MAJ Pratt served as the company commander for C CO, 502d IEW BN where he lead his Company of HUMINT and CI Soldier in supporting various operations within USINDOPACOM.

MAJ Collin Pratt’s civilian education includes a bachelor’s in English with a minor in women’s and gender Studies from Boston College and a master's in English with a focus on composition and rhetoric studies. His military education includes the Military Intelligence Basic Officer Leadership Course and the Military Intelligence Captains Career Course.

MAJ Pratt’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal the Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terror Expeditionary and Service Medals, the Army Service Ribbon, and the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency.

MAJ Pratt now serves as an instructor at the U.S. Military Academy’s Simon Center for the Professional Military Ethic teaching MX400: Officership. Collin is married to MAJ Morgan Rennekamp an instructor in the Behavioral Science and Leadership Department.
