CPT(P) Daniel Pcsolyar is an instructor of international affairs in the Department of Social Sciences at West Point.

He began his service in the 3rd Infantry Division as a field artillery officer before transitioning to psychological operations at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His military assignments have included rotations to Germany, Poland, Korea, and Eastern Europe.

Pcsolyar’s research interests focus on authoritarian-sponsored information operations, contemporary approaches to cognitive warfare, and force modernization. He holds a Master of International Affairs in international security policy from Columbia University, a Master of Professional Studies in homeland security from Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in history and Russian from Virginia Tech.

CPT Pcsolyar and his wife, Kate, enjoy spending their free time traveling and enjoying the outdoors.
