Dr. Galamo Monkam is a multidisciplinary researcher and educator with expertise in cybersecurity, machine learning, and applied mathematics. He is currently affiliated with the Robotics Research Center in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the United States Military Academy.
Prior to this role, Dr. Monkam completed two years of postdoctoral research at the Army Cyber Institute at West Point. He previously served as a mathematics and computer science instructor at Bowie State University and Morgan State University, supporting academic programs and mentoring students in STEM and emerging technologies.
Dr. Monkam holds advanced degrees in applied and computational mathematics and in computer science. He has earned six industry-recognized certifications: CompTIA CASP+, CompTIA Security+, PCAP (Python Certified Associate Programmer), AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
