MAJ Geoffrey Moores

MAJ. Geoff Moores commissioned as an infantry officer in 2014 through the United States Military Academy.

He served as a rifle platoon leader and scout platoon leader in the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy, from 2015 to 2018.

He then moved to Maryland to pursue his Master of Science in computer science from the University of Maryland, College Park, from 2018 to 2020, during which he transferred to the Cyber Branch.

After completing career and transition courses at Fort Gordon, he served as a cyber and electromagnetic activities planner and HHC commander at the Multi-Domain Effects Battalion, 1st Multi-Domain Task Force, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord from 2021 to 2023.

He enjoys his Army career with the support of his wife, Emma, and their two children, Diana and Isabelle.
