Gwynith Godin is a data scientist and machine learning researcher at the Robotics Research Center within the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the United States Military Academy. Her work focuses on developing machine learning–driven tools for cybersecurity applications.
Prior to joining the Robotics Research Center in October 2025, she earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University in 2022. She later pivoted her career path, completing a master’s degree in computer science at Northeastern University in December 2025.
During her graduate studies, Godin completed a co-op at Shark Ninja, where she developed software automation tools to support product testing, working both part-time and full-time roles for approximately 1.5 years. She later joined Specter Aerospace, a Department of Defense–contracted company, as a software and controls engineering Intern, contributing to both hardware and software development for control systems used in long-range hypersonic weapon engine testing.
