Mr. John Hutton

LTC Hutton is an instructor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the United State Military Academy, West Point. This is his second rotation at West Point.

He commissioned as an Engineer officer through Officer Candidate School in 2008. In 2013, LTC Hutton transitioned to Functional Area 40, Space Operations. His recent assignments include Beyond Line of Sight Chief, Army Capability Manager, Network and Services; Space and STO Chief, 82nd Airborne Division; Instructor, USMA; Space Operations Officer, 4th Space Company; Engineer Planner, RC-East, Afghanistan. He has deployed twice as an engineer officer and twice as a space operations officer.

LTC Hutton's civilian experience, prior to joining the Army, includes software developer, special projects and network engineer, and high school teacher.
