Kevin R. Grazier, Ph.D. currently serves in two roles at the U.S. Military Academy: he is a research scientist in the Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering where he does fundamental space weather research, studies its effect on military operations, and teaches core physics courses. Grazier also serves as outreach coordinator in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science where he developed, and is implementing, a communications strategy focused on sharing the department's stories of technology development and innovation via internal, social media and print channels.
Grazier previously served as a visiting professor of computer science at West Point from 2016 to 2018, where he taught an introductory computer class required for all plebes.
By education, Dr. Grazier is a computational physicist/planetary dynamicist and his research includes numerical method development, mining information from large simulation data sets, and long-term simulations of Solar System dynamics, evolution, and chaos.
