CPT Kyle Dotterrer is a research scientist at the Army Cyber Institute with the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in computational data science from Carnegie Mellon University.
He has served in the U.S. Army as a cyber capability developer, data engineer, machine learning engineer, and software engineer. Most recently, Dotterrer served as a software architect and technical lead within the Artificial Intelligence Factory at the Army Artificial Intelligence Integration Center.
Dotterrer is a graduate of the Cyber Basic Officer Course and the Army Special Operations Forces Captains Career Course. He is certified as an Army senior cyber capability developer with a specialization in Windows Persistence. Research interests includeAI, machine learning, database systems, compilers, and computer systems security.
