CPT Mark Mihalik is an instructor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the United States Military Academy (USMA), where he also serves as the dean's staff operations officer.

He graduated from USMA in 2014 and commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Signal Corps. He served as a platoon leader and company executive officer with the U.S. Network Enterprise Center-Belgium, providing communication support for the U.S. European Command commander and the Supreme Allied Commander Europe.

In 2018, CPT Mihalik was assigned as the S-6 to the 782nd Military Intelligence Battalion at Fort Gordon, Georgia, where he managed training networks in support of cyberspace operations. He later transitioned to the Cyber branch and served as the operations officer for the 102nd Combat Mission Team before assuming the team lead position of the 103rd Combat Support Team.

CPT Mihalik serves with the support of his wife, CPT Allyson Hauptman, and their two children, Ronen and Maven.
