Matthew Corbett

LTC Matthew L. Corbett is the Senior Research Scientist and Artificial Intelligence Research Lead for the Army Cyber Institute at the United States Military Academy, West Point. He leads research and innovation efforts focused on AI-enabled decision support, AI-enabled cybersecurity, human-machine teaming, and the operational integration of artificial intelligence across defense and national security missions.

His work explores how advances in machine learning, generative AI, autonomous systems, and data-driven analytics can enhance decision advantage for military leaders operating in complex and contested environments. As AI Lead for the Army Cyber Institute, he collaborates with government, industry, and academic partners to develop practical applications of AI that improve mission planning, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making.
