MAJ Nicholas Harrell, Ph.D. Instructor Electrical Engineering & Computer Science joshua.groen [at] westpoint.edu About MAJ Nicholas Harrell is a research scientist at the Army Cyber Institute and the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the United States Military Academy. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Security from Purdue University. His research interests include Operational Security, AI Governance, Post-Quantum Cryptography, and Cyber Operations.He has served in the Army as an Armor Officer and a FA 26B Data System Engineer. He currently serves as a research scientist, working on Operational Security, Post-quantum cryptography, and Industrial Control Systems-related projects.
