In these roles, he assesses, researches, and develops evidence-based character and leadership interventions.He holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University, a master's degree from Wake Forest University, and a doctorate from the University of Southern California.He is married to the former Jaclynn Mikkelson, and they are the parents of two daughters.
