MAJ Timothy Leung

MAJ Tim Leung is a nuclear and counter–weapons of mass destruction (FA52) officer currently serving as a deputy director of the Nuclear Science & Engineering Research Center at the United States Military Academy.
He graduated with bachelor's degree in mathematics from Stonehill College, a master's degree from the National Intelligence University, and is pursuing a master's degree in data science at Johns Hopkins University.
MAJ Leung commissioned through the Boston University Army ROTC program and served as a field artillery officer for the first nine years of his career. Previous assignments include serving as a fire direction officer, platoon leader, and battery executive officer in 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; a fires officer in Special Operations Joint Task Force-Afghanistan; assistant operations officer and battery commander within 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); and assistant professor of military science in the Johns Hopkins University Army ROTC program.
MAJ Leung is a Massachusetts native and resides with his wife, Gabrielle, their son, Teddy, and their dog, Hazel.
