By Office of Staff Judge Advocate Date: Monday, Jul 20, 2026 Time: 14:36 EST

We are excited to share that the Legal Assistance Office has moved from Mahan Hall to Building 622 at Buffalo Soldier Field.

For those who don’t know, Building 622 houses the West Point MWR Bowling Alley and we are located on the south side of the building. While both entrances are accessible, we would ask prospective clients to utilize the main entrance of the building for legal assistance. Navigate to the main entrance, walk through the double doors, take a left, and walk through the sign that reads “Office of Staff Judge Advocate.” Our office will be on the left side once you walk through the entrance doors. There is easily accessible parking and handicapped parking adjacent to Buffalo Soldier Field.

The Legal Assistance Office assists eligible clients with their personal legal affairs in a timely and professional manner by meeting their needs for information on personal legal matters and resolving their personal legal problems whenever possible.

Navigate through questions in the WLRP to better understand your legal readiness and generate a personalized checklist you can take to our office for action. The WLRP guides you in identifying your legal needs. Legal assistance attorneys are prepared to work with you to address these needs to ensure you can focus on the mission.
